It just happened later than I thought it would.
Actually, I was hoping it wouldn’t happen at all.
Not after I killed it. Or thought I did.
Not after I killed it, burned it and scattered the ashes. But it came back. With a vengeance. Not to haunt me, but to drag me kicking and screaming into the future.
So on this, the last day of 2016, a year that had more drama than I care to think about anymore, I am going to put that drama back where it belongs, so it adds to my life (and maybe yours).
My new life back here in old Los Angeles.
I am giving up making A Country Living and I am going back to the life I once knew.
And you all are coming with me, because Ladies & Gentlemen, Friends & Foe, I am not going there alone.
So sit back, buckle your seat belts, pour yourselves a drink and hold on tight.
Because on this, my 7th day of turning 60 years old on this Christmas Day, I am going to begin (again) to be the only thing I know and always knew I was born to be and meant to be.
I was born to be an Actress. Comic Relief. A Comediane. A Character Actress. I was born to laugh, to be happy and I was born to make those around me laugh and be happy too.
So that is what I am going to be and to do.
And you are going to be my adoring fans, so whip out those autograph books and sharpies and start applauding.
Because you ain’t seen nothing like Season 6.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
(Don’t go away, we’ll be back after a word from our sponsors.)
